There's a boat launch for canoes and kayaks. I was told there were no alligators around but I found that hard to believe being in southern Florida.

There's no campfire rings. I'm not sure if fires are permitted. I would think not since the smoke would likely disturb the permanent residents. I looked around and found no evidence of fires at any site. Be on guard for golf carts. It seems older folk like to ride instead of walk. If you see a bunch of carts parked in a group at a site then you know a big party or card game is going on.

Wonderfully relaxed environment with well kept grounds. There was enough room to maneuver my fifth wheel into place without too much hassle. Great pool, and the central lake is beautiful and really added to the overall atmosphere. The mix of permanent and semi-permanent residents makes this place feel like your joining a real community of neighbors. Definitely recommend.

Lots and lots of dog owners. There's a fenced in area you can use to let your pet run around in and 4 sites around the park where free plastic bags to clean up after your pet are distributed. When we walked our dogs we had to stop several times during our walk around the lake to run water over them to cool them down.

The staff was always courteous and friendly. The grounds crew were constantly cleaning, cutting grass or performing general maintenance.

I would have rated it higher but the excessive remodeling time on the laundry and club house brought it down. The sites were rather small too but that's to be expected in privately owned campgrounds.

We've stayed 4 or 5 times and the last trip we were in a 36' 5th wheel during the last 2 weeks of June 2017. This was our first trip during the middle of summer. With both A/C units running ALL DAY LONG the coolest interior temperature we could achieve was 75 degrees. I went to Wal-Mart just down the street (very convenient) and bought a 5K window unit. That enabled us to get the interior temp down to 70 but all 3 ran ALL DAY LONG. However, at night the 5K unit cooled the entire RV. Many of the park model trailers had the 1/2 inch styrofoam sheeting covering the windows. Those people were full timers who were back home I suspect as I never saw any activity. Most folks came out early in the morning or about an hour before sunset. The best experience we ever had was for Thanksgiving. Very, very nice people. They stopped by our site and invited us to Thanksgiving Lunch.

I was only there one day and it rained so I'm not best judge for this place. What I can tell you is it looked well-maintained and nice and the residents were very friendly.

My family and I enjoy this park. Its pretty great for the price. The pools are great when its chilly or hot, and very clean. The garbage site is a trash compactor and its always tidy. Residents are easy going and we've had no unpleasant neighbors. Its feels very safe. The public bathrooms and showers are a bit out dated but clean. The large laundry facility had a fire and is closed, so that has been inconvenient. The only reason I give a 4 star to this park is because of all the dog poop. Even with posted notices and dog poop stations with bags, there is always poop in my yard.

It's not really an RV park. Well, it is and it isn't. In my opinion it's an RV retirement community. Most of the sites are permanently occupied by "snow birds" in their park model trailers. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.) If you stop in during the summer most people will be back home up North leaving only the full time residents to deal with the heat. There's NO shade for travelers but on the positive side it's really easy to set up your satellite dish. The sites with shade have permanent residents. Late October thru March/early April are the best times to stay in my view.

Very clean. Nice and friendly staff. Space between sites. Very quit at night. Just a great place to stay.

WiFi isn't free unless you're close enough to the club house to pick up the complimentary WiFi signal but it's very slow. The clubhouse has been closed for over 2 years now for renovations. I asked a guy who lived in the park about why it was taking so long to complete. He just laughed and said he wasn't worried about the clubhouse, he just wanted the laundry located at the main office to be fixed. It had a fire a couple months ago and was still out of service. There was a second laundry but he didn't like it. There are 2 pools. One at the club house and the other at the main office. Both nice and very clean.

The beaches aren't too terribly far away. Take a right on highway 64 and just drive till you hit the water. Several nice spots along the beach highway with free public parking.

The sites are all concrete but many are beginning to deteriorate as they age. Quite a few are broken up and cracked. Grass is starting to cover them up. Picnic tables at each site or if not the grounds crew will bring one to you if you request it. I saw a huge stack of them in the maintenance yard.
