Even though there was not an empty seat in Thor Ragnarok it was very clean. The general staff went immediately to work cleaning the moment the movie ended.
I had to get up again and ask they put the sound on. THEN, the sound was incredibly too loud! It was painful to sit there... and then there were digital anomalies throughout the entire movie. Bright Blue digital lines would appear as mirroring the actors now and then, and then just vertically. It was incredibly distracting.
Never a bad time. Comfy lobby to wait for film to start. Concession stand exorbitantly priced...like all movie theaters. Clean super comfy seats. Only movie theatre we will go to.
Went to see Thor Ragnarok which was an awesome movie. The theater was packed. They only had one snack bar open in the whole building. Not even one in the back was open. The wait time for popcorn and soda was well over 30 minutes. Between the long line for food and the overly exuberant price of the food you would expect the popcorn to not taste like it was over cooked. And the Coke machine was dirty and had way to much carbonation. The manager in charge was not very receptive to complaints about the quality of the refreshments being served . But was very quick to apologize for not refunding the price of the refreshments.
My wife and I went on a rare date night to see the new Blade Runner at an AMC 20 in Digital 3d. The movie was pretty good except for the experience. You see, first, they forgot to give me the 3d glasses at the counter, so I had to go and wait in line again, (I had to ask the girl at the counted 3 times for the glasses, maybe she's hard of hearing, I don't know, but it wasn't loud by the concession stand.) My perception, but she came across as rude.
Clean enough, friendly staff. I have had one experience where someone forgot to come start the movie (or even the ads) for almost 20 minutes, but hey, stuff happens. The food options are pretty great considering where you are (2 different kinds of pizza, pretzels, chicken tenders, waffles, etc), and they even have a bar, though it is rarely open. I believe only in the evenings on weekends, but I could be mistaken. Either way, not too shabby, but I did prefer it before it became AMC
We spent $35 on the tickets for the Digital 3d experience, and then another $25 on refreshments. The kids there are immature, and it was overall a horrible experience. You should know. We won't return as it's not worth $60. We both had headaches and were fatigued after the movie it made it almost impossible to enjoy.
I've been to this theater tons of times since I moved to town 15 years ago. Even when they were owned by Royal Palm 20, they were always great. The staff is always friendly too. Once I arrived to a horror movie 10 minutes late (last year). I was the only one there besides my friend. Well a female manager came in and brought us two rainy day tickets for any movie of our choice. It was our fault we were late. That manager went above and beyond. I wish I knew her name. If she still works there, next time I go, I'm going to thank her AGAIN. Besides amazing staff, place is clean, comfortable seats, concession stands, a full BAR to order drinks. 5/5 for me.
Then after we got seated, the sound didn't work in the theater so we sat through silent previews, and partial start of the movie.
