Cool old feel church, great wedding venue!
My husband and I came at 3: 20 on a Saturday Sept 2 , 2017 and it was closed. They close at 4:00 but we couldn't get in. If your planning on visiting I would come early.
The whole park is a great place for everyone, the guided brochure is a must have for the first time. We walked through the whole park and stopped at the gift shop and the whole trip took about 2 hours. Very neat place to bring the family to see what old Florida was like.
As a resident in Manatee County the Historical Park is a wonderful stop on your learning about our county and the history that exists in Manatee County. There is a great museum to visit as well as a gift shop on site for keepsakes. I would highly recommend stopping in to visit. It is highly likely you learn something interesting about Manatee Counties history.
This place is awesome! So many exhibits and information! You really want to visit here, trust me!
