One of the more helpful post offices that I have visited. When the line started to get long someone came out to help expedite the process.
So glad that my packages get lost and my mail ends up in everyone else's mail box but mine.
We have many problems with the delivery from this office. 1)Our mail got forwarded by fraud one time which led to identity theft. Maybe that one could happen to any office. 2) My step-son moved out and he wanted his mail forwarded to his new address. We have different last names, so it should not be difficult. However, my mail is lost not going to my address or his, and his mail is still coming to our place. Called the main USPS number and they referred us to the local office. That local office phone number doesn't work, sounds like a FAX line. Met the supervisor in person and she was very stern and unapologetic. She refused to look at the case number or background info we spent 2 hours on hold with USPS collecting. We'll see if it gets resolved. I'm skeptical.
WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN A POST OFFICE! These people are rude as hell and none of them actually give a sh*t about any of they're customers. You better be there way before closing time, because if you come a few minutes before they close(which is when most people go), the doors are already locked even though there's still plenty of people in there waiting in line. I got there 2 minutes before close, they wouldn't let me in. And I called them 1 minute before closing, no answer of course. And due to them not letting me in, I lost $530 because I was returning cloths that needed to go out priority that day or I wouldn't get a refund for them if they arrived late. So thanks for that, I appreciate it so much! So then, I'm knocking on the door because I wanted to know if my package would still go out that night if I dropped it in the drop box since it was now 5 after closing and their last pick up time Was 5 minutes ago. That's literally all I wanted to know. And I was telling them through the glass, "I just have a question!" But they wouldnt even answer my question. And there was one black girl working there with braids in a ponytail, and she actually told all the customers that were walking out the door "DON'T LET THAT GIRL IN!" "THAT ONE RIGHT THERE!" And was obnoxiously pointing to me every single time a customer walked out... Wow... Really? It put them in a wierd position and made everyone walking out so uncomfortable. Not to mention it made me look like some kind of criminal like I was trying to break into the post office or something. It was so embarrassing and it was absolutely ridiculous and beyond inconsiderate to say the least. So I'm standing at the glass doors after all the customers left, while the employees are all still sitting there in their little cubicle things and I decide to call the post office from my cell phone. Hoping they'd quit the tough guy act. Nope! They would not answer the phone for the life of them! I called literally 15 times while I was standing there. And they looked at me and saw that I was calling and just ignored it. And I was literally hearing their phone ring inside right in front of them over and over and over again while they are all just sitting there doing nothing. WOOOW! So at this point there's just one older man left inside working and I knocked on the glass and mouthed to him, "Can you please, please answer the phone, I just have a quick question." He looked at me and shook his head back and forth, said Nope, then ignored me for the next 10 minutes as I was still calling their phone. I couldn't believe it. So I Eventually left after 40 minutes of calling and standing there. Yes they ignored me for 30 minutes while staring at me, listening to the phone ring over and over. Such nice people right!? So I had to leave because I had a nail appt near by and didn't want to be later than I already was. So as I'm driving, i'm STILL calling this post office over and over again thinking that they will hopefully get annoyed enough to just answer the damn phone! Nope! What did they do? They TOOK THR PHONR OFF THE HOOK FOR THR NEXT 4 HOURS SO NO ONE CAN CALL! I couldn't believe it, so immature and rude. DO NOT GO THERE! DON'T GIVE THESE INCONSIDERATE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS AND HARD EARNED MONEY! Besides the drop off location on Tellevast (not the actual post office, the sorting center thats in between 41 & 15th Ave) they're last pick up time is 7:30p.m. And they have the coolest employees who pick up from the drop boxes. Like Bonnie, she's the best and really brightens your day. Unlike this post office, they ruin your day. And there's no middle man when you drop off there. It doesn't bounce around post offices before it goes to Tampa. I actually timed & tracked 2 packages going to the same location just to see if there was a difference. I dropped one off at the barbaric 53rd USPS and then one at the wonderful Tellevast drop off location. The Tellevast package arrived 2 days earlier! 53rd box just sat in Tampa while the other one left immediately. Do urself a favor, go anywhere else!!!
